Arch1101 Week1

This is a project in my design foundation study. It's a 3D model which I paid a lot of attention and patience on it. I hollowed out the foam core to create some interesting negative space and shadow. I tried different ways to create the 3D space and changed the direction. Otherwise, balance is another unique character. 

 

I noticed this building in Instagram. Although I don't know the name of it and whether it finished, it is really catch my eyes. The structure and appearance are very special which I never seen before. The three parts cross connect to each other, and the angles of them are look perfect.

 

I took this photo in my hometown when I back to China. It's winter at that time but the sunlight give me a warm feeling. The lake and grass let me feel a kind of peaceful.
